Main highlights include: Devon and Cornwall Chapter presented an Oak plaque to the IAAS HQ (coat of arms are of the County of Devon and Duchy of cornwall), report of the coronation banquet and ball 15th may 1953, at Annual Dinner, East Midlands Branch Chairman, Major G S Fretwell, said IAAS did not describe itself as an ‘Institute’ but as an ‘Association of friends belonging to various allied professions’. Also, they released a dutifull address to the queens coronation and released that the 1954 Parthenon issue would be bi-monthly.
